Busy week at the SEB. Egg Conference and talk went well Sunday, Moving in Groups talk Monday, and tomorrow an evening public outreach lecture at Cafe Scientifique. Fun and suitably knackered.

Our paper about heat dissipation during migratory flights in eiders has been accepted in Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B, and should be out towards the end of next month!!

Thrilled our picture was chosen to be the front cover of TREE for our upcoming article (see publications), issue out next month!!

Our eggy paper looking at non-invasive techniques for studying twitching in bird embryos has been accepted in Physiological and Biochemical Zoology. Hopefully a useful methods paper for many. Congratulations first author Andrea Pollard at the RVC.
New paper published in Physiological and Biochemical Zoology – lots of logger data, lots of authors. Looking at heart rate patterns between mammals and birds, and whether any uniformity exists between them. You can read the paper here!
