Secretary Bird Kick-hunting Mechanics Our paper titled “The fast and forceful kicking strikes of snake-hunting Secretary Birds (Sagittarius serpentarius)” has been accepted in Current Biology, which is excellent. This was a collaboration with Monica Daley at the Royal Veterinary College, with Emily Sparkes and Dr Campbell Murn at the Hawk Conservancy Trust. More details to follow. |
