I have an article out in Biosphere Magazine about our Secretary Bird work that was published earlier in the year in Current Biology. Subscibers to the magazine can read the full article on the Biosphere website.

I have an article about migration out in the BTO (British Trust for Ornithology) magazine – free to all members.
Looking forward to talking at this event at the end of September, more details in the link:

Our (with Emily Shepard) special issue on Flight is out today, as a theme issue of Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B. You can access the issue on the link below. Within that is a paper I did in collaboration with Prof Magella Guillemette that looks at how heat dissipation in migrating eider ducks may limit their daily flight time.
I have a news piece out in The Conversation, about the freaks and uniques of the animal world. It can be read here!

Busy week at the SEB. Egg Conference and talk went well Sunday, Moving in Groups talk Monday, and tomorrow an evening public outreach lecture at Cafe Scientifique. Fun and suitably knackered.

Our paper about heat dissipation during migratory flights in eiders has been accepted in Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B, and should be out towards the end of next month!!
Our new paper is out Trends in Ecology & Evolution, with the Front Cover too (below). Paper can be read here, and on the Publications page.

Thrilled our picture was chosen to be the front cover of TREE for our upcoming article (see publications), issue out next month!!
