Biotweeps
Had a fun (and very busy) week on Biotweeps. Covered a range of topics, including Siamese Fighting Fish, Eggshell Physiology and Colour, Avian Migration and Moult. The favourite topic I think was Avian Vision. Lots and lots of questions about that topic. Was excellent. The week has been storified, can can be found here: |

ASAB Winter Meeting
Had a fantastic time at the ASAB winter meeting at ZSL. Great venue for a conference, and enjoyed visiting gorillas, pygmy hippo’s and slow loris during breaks. Was my first one, and will definitely be going again. Good to catch up with folk, and also meet a host of new people. Following the week on Biotweeps, has been a social and interactive fortnight. |
